Terms and Conditions

By submitting this referral form, you certify that:

• You are a U.S. resident, age 18 or older, legally eligible to receive income.
• You are not part of the Happy Paws HQ Leadership Team.
• You are not involved in the hiring, interviewing, or contractual decision-making for the candidate you are referring.
• The candidate:
  • Is not currently employed, contracted, or providing relief services at any Happy Paws hospital.
  • Is being referred for a part-time or full-time veterinarian position.

You agree and understand:

• Referral submissions must be made through this website form to qualify.
• If the referred candidate is hired and remains employed for 90 days, you are eligible to receive:
  • $12,000 total for full-time hires (3 x $4,000 installments)
  • $6,000 total for part-time hires (3 x $2,000 installments)
• Installment payments begin 30 days after the candidate’s start date and will stop if the candidate resigns or is terminated before completing 90 days.
• You will be contacted post-hire to provide your W-9 and direct deposit details via a secure portal.
• Payments will be reported as 1099-NEC taxable income if they meet IRS thresholds.

This program is governed by the laws of Texas, and all disputes will be resolved in Collin County, Texas. Participation does not imply employment or a business relationship with Happy Paws.
